As MyMusicRx Senior Manager for Children's Cancer Association, I led a yearly trip to SXSW. In addition to capturing performances and interviews with some of the best bands in the world, we staged a fundraiser concert headlined by the likes of Aloe Blacc, Les Claypool, Typhoon, and The Zombies. Eventually, we partnered with the festival to bring the SXSW experience to Dell Children's Hospital, where kids and teens who couldn't leave the hospital were made to feel like backstage VIPs.
